Playwright, director, actor, educator, and founder of Speakeasy Theatre Company.
About
Cordelia Brand has been doing theatre since she was six. She studied theatre arts at Weber State University, earned a master’s degree in teaching theatre at Westminster College, and has spent more than 30 years directing shows.
Her work moves easily between performance and education. In addition to writing, directing, and acting, she teaches theatre and helps young artists find their own ways into story.
In fall 2022, she founded Speakeasy Theatre Company: a home for original productions that are funny, serious, surprising, and always willing to wander off the expected path.
